Diligent Fingers ended 2024 with a full-length album called “War In Peace”. Alluding to the cyclone of mental and emotional dealings that so many people experience in silence, it was a powerful exclamation point to the year. Twelve months later, the renowned multihyphenate delivers part two of his “War” saga, “The War Within”.
As alluded to in the title, this multi-genre collection of music examines the inner war that drum-n-bass’s most complex polymath wages with his demons, while acknowledging his muses and inspirations. It also gives us yet another glimpse into the eclectic creative energies that abound in the mind of the man who fuels Spynal Records, via his production skills, his shrewd choices in collaborators, his layered harmonies, and of course, his lyrical prowess.
Truly, “The War Within” is an album lover’s album and to listen is as close as one can get to musical empathy. If you’ve ever enjoyed the previous work of Diligent Fingers and his genre defying (and genre defining) label Spynal Records, this piece of his catalogue is essential to understanding the artist, his outlook, and his output.

War In Peace is a musical exploration through the inner conflicts we can all struggle with. Loneliness, Frustrations, Resentment, Depression, Grief and Loss. All things We tend to suffer with in silence yet try and find motivation and stay positive in an increasingly negative world.
Diligent Fingers touches on all these elements in unique ways, balancing light and dark, rough and smooth sounds, synths and bassline throughout this 12 track body of work.
War In Peace is also the precursor to The War Within, Dili’s multi-genre album that has been in the works for over 10 years, bringing all of his musical influences together from his 20 years within the music industry and taking a deeper look into his life.
Dedicated to his mother, a celebration of the last 20 years and a thank you to everyone supporting Diligent Fingers and his movements, War In Peace is the first of many bodies of work to be released on Spynal Records, further cementing the label as a home for true expression, Music With Backbone.

RAY KEITH - CHOPPER ( DILI REMIX ) - VINYL
Dread Recordings have made another return with a fiery new release from Dread regulars Ray Keith and Dark Soldier. The vibrant joint consists of two unmissable tracks dubbed 'Chopper' and 'Back To Me'.
Opening with a lively VIP remix from Dilligent Fingers, 'Choppa” encompasses a lively atmosphere upon its rapid bassline and fluctuating drum patterns. Each element fuses together to manufacture a stylish VIP mix perfectly produced to bless up the dancefloor.
Following on from the opener, the two-parter fades into a lively production courtesy of Dark Soldier. Opening with bang the track explodes into a controlled drop incorporating nostalgic jungle-esque soundscapes and a harmonic vocal. This one is exclusive to the vinyl and won't be released digitally!
Both tracks hold their own as memorable productions. Each offering flexes the prowess of both producers seamlessly; adding further layers to their credible discographies.
